Objectives

​The Certificate in pastoral studies aims to acquire the conceptual tools and basic skills needed for effective leadership of Christian communities and thoughtful interactions with society. The right balance of biblical, theological and practical knowledge will enable the student to help people make the connection between the Word of God and their daily lives.

Credits obtained in the Certificate in pastoral studies (without graduation) are transferable in the Bachelor of theology program. Any student enrolled in the Certificate in pastoral studies, and who wishes to continue on his academic path to obtain a Baccalaureate, must either change the program for the Bachelor of theology before the end of the last active session, or accumulate two other Certificates to complete the 90 credits required to obtain a multidisciplinary Baccalaureate by cumulating three programs of 30 credits each.
